Lighting Gaskets

At Vipad®, we manufacture flexible sealing components required by the lighting industry. A gasket is one of the most critical components of a lighting fixture enclosure. It protects the inside of the housing against external factors such as air, dust, moisture and water, thereby extending the service life of the electronic equipment. Therefore, the custom manufacture of silicone or EPDM gaskets according to the operating environment is extremely important.

Gaskets for cooler housings and outdoor lighting enclosures can be manufactured using different formulations for indoor and outdoor conditions, with custom model designs developed according to customer requirements.

Cover gaskets installed on electrical enclosures are critical sealing components that protect the enclosure against dust, moisture and external influences. Our cover gaskets manufactured from EPDM rubber provide particularly high water-sealing performance in underground electrical enclosures. With high tensile strength, elongation and resistance to stress, these gaskets maintain their performance for long periods under outdoor environmental conditions.

Transformer gaskets that meet the flexible material requirements of the electrical and electronics industry are an important part of the Vipad® production programme. Custom gasket modelling according to customer requirements is also available within this product group.
